How can I Update my Safari? I am running High Sierra but Safari is still outdated and I can't get on some websites.

I installed High Sierra OS on my iMac but my Safari is still 6.2.8 and will not allow access to some websites as it says it can not get a secure connection. How can i fix this? Updating OS did not work.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

Download and apply the macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Combo Update. It includes Safari 11.1. Safari is included in system updates and upgrades so I can't see how you don't have it. Verify what system you have vis the  ➙ About this Mac menu option.

A 2nd option is to use Firefox. It's a very safe and fast browser and is highly configurable.

I use it on sites that Safari had a difficult time in operating correctly. Firefox worked perfectly.
