lost photos and some music

I switched from iPhone 6 to iPhone X last week , my photos transfered over but now today they are all gone. Also, songs I had downloaded with Apple Music are gone too

deleted photos my boyfriend and i decided to use the same icloud.after he logged in, downloaded music from apple music.when downloading,it said "transfer for 90 days” first he pressed cancel,since he could not download the music,he pressed the transfer.3000 photos were erased from his iphone.why?what does music have to do with a photo?how can we recover?
