bought new macbook pro....went to app store and none of my apps are there from my old macbook pro. yes i signed in using my apple id.

Your profile shows an old version of macOS. Have you updated to the most recent version of macOS High Sierra? I'm guessing a new Mac came with HS, but does it need updating?
Are you looking for the apps in the Purchased pane?
One troubleshooting step is to sign out of your account in both Mac App Store and iTunes, quit the apps, restart your Mac and try again.
