No sound playing back a TV Show on iTunes

I am running the latest version of iTunes on a 2018 MacBook Pro, but it will not play sound. Nothing in Preferences indicates a problem. And iTunes Help is useless.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Itunes PC audio issues Hello everyone, I recently downloaded the latest version of itunes on my PC. I have some issues with audio, whenever I play music from my library it works fine but if I try to play a movie or TV show there is no sound playing at all. All my computer settings in terms of audio are full including Itunes but the problem still persists despite changing my playback preferences to "Direct sound". Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

iTunes won’t play sound through hdmi. What do I do? So I have tried everything that was suggested and it’s no t working. What do I do? So far I have gone to playback selected direct sound restarted iTunes and my laptop. None of it has worked
