Apple Watch 3 will not synch with Apple Pay. Is there a fix?

Picked up an Apple Watch series 3 today 4/22/18 and I can not get it to sync to my apple Pay account that already has a balance and I have used before.. any suggestions.

Setting up Apple Pay on my Watch I have a series 3 Apple Watch and every time I try to set up, “Apple Pay” it does not work. I simply get a message saying, “Could not set up Apple Pay. An error occurred while setting up Apple Pay.” What can I do? I have already tried the basic steps. Restarting it, disconnected and paired again, and also checking the wifi, Bluetooth and airplane mode. What do I do next?

Apple pay After disconnecting my old apple watch series 3, connecting my new apple watch series 6, apple pay does not work anymore on my iphone 7 plus. But is DOES work on the new apple watch 6. I cannot get apple pay work anymore on my iphone 7, whatever i do. Any idea??
