Airpods skipping on Windows 10 Bootcamp

I got my new airpods today, they paired and worked well on my iphone for a few hours. I paired them to my 2017 MBP on Windows in Bootcamp. Audio stutters/skips every few seconds listening to music, making them unusable 😟

airpods wont connect to microsoft laptop so my airpods are not connecting to my laptop at all, its not like connecting by bluetooth it does that it just paired but won't connect it usually says "connected, music, sounds" something like that but now it just says "connected" and after a few seconds disconnects and the noise that airpods make when they get connected to a device doesn't happen what do i do? i have the 2nd gen airpods w wireless charging case

Airpods sound is distorted on macbook air m1 Randomly, my airpods will have distorted sound with my macbook air m1. When I switch them to my iPhone and iPad they work fine.
