How can I keep a heading on the same page as the table of contents when converting to ePub?

This is my book in pages:

As you can see, the heading "Contents" is on the same page as the table of contents (The contents has been generated in Apple Pages).

However, when I convert to ePub, the following happens:

The heading "Contents" goes on a separate page. This is not too bad if the person is viewing in dual page view (as seen in the image), but it becomes very confusing if the person is viewing in single page mode.

How can I fix this?
