Saving channel strips now only allows me to save into an outside folder.

I've been saving channel strips for awhile and before, they have always been accessible instantly in logic and mainstage. But now, when i click "save channel strip" it asks me to save it to a folder on my computer outside logic? why is this suddenly happening and how can i get it back to just saving in logic real fast and not trying to redirect the save into some other folder on my computer. thanks

I assume you are using the Save Channel Strip Setting AS command in the Setting Menu when clicking on the Setting Button on top of a Channel Strip.

That command should automatically open the Channel Strip Type specific folder inside the Channel Strip Settings folder inside the Audio Music Apps folder inside your user's Music directory.

If that doesn't happen, then something is messed up in Logic. Do the usual troubleshooting (try removing the Logic Preferences, try booting from a different user, etc.) to pinpoint the issue.

Hope that helps
