How to fix "could not be synced because the sync session failed to finish"

I have been having the problem of syncing of my iPhoneX with my iMac.

I am receiving the message " iPhone could not be synced because the sync session failed to finish"

I have tried everything what I have read. Nothing I found is after 2014.

I have changed my iPhone and iMac. There is no problem when I sync it the first time. But as soon as I make any change I get the above message. It is really frustrating.

Can someone help?
