I still am NOT able to gain any access or helpful instructions to fwd the fake email I saved! Every time you instruct me to use reportphishing. @apple.com, I’m being sent NEW verification codes to proceed, but it ends there! I can’t continue. Now what???

Clicking on that link should only open a new email message with the To: address being report phishing@apple.com.

Not sure why you are getting verification codes. You might try sending the email manually, instead of using the link.

Send it as an attachment to reportphishing@apple.com. Then delete it.
