iTunes is a NIGHTMARE

ok so they have now gone back to old school where iTunes is what it was -

now however since the latest update IT NO LONGER CLOSES when i say quit ...

running the latest iOS on a Mac mini with 16 gigs of ram ...

i have to force quit - which will take 30 minutes to open the next time i go to open

as it needs to check the library ....

by which point i no longer care and have to force quit cause now i am done with this UTTER NIGHT MARE

they have created ....

HOW DO WE FIX THIS LATEST BUG ?

i would like to thank you for your time in answering this

however - the solution you provided has done nothing to help

now (it has nothing to do with the solution you provided)

even though all settings are checked - my iPad will no longer connect via Wi-Fi

the more they touch this program/application the more the F&%K it up

still having to force quick - causing a library check each and every opening ......

again i thank you - however my belief is that if i went backwards

that will cause MANY more issues with future update

i, (knocking in wood as we speak), think you should amend your previous suggestion to include the following

1 - Reboot all devises, computer, iPhone(s), iPad(s), what have you three times - yes i said 3 time (no i do not have OCD, ok, i do, but not that bad and not the type that has to do things in multiples)

2 - run iTunes go to quit and just let it take 24+ hrs and (which will say saving library), only to to "Force Quit" through the icon in your Dock, send report to Apple (as you have force quit an application)

3 - run iTunes - and like i said Knock on Wood things seem to be running as they should

amend as you see, however these added steps worked for me (and yes i Reboot after ALL updates) -

iTunes is a NIGHTMARE
