Hey lirlev4,

It sounds like you're having issues where other people are having trouble hearing you while on a phone call. I'll be happy to help out.

You've done some great troubleshooting already by testing the microphone in Voice Memos. If you toggle Bluetooth off when on a phone call, does the sound issue still persist?

Be sure the steps here have been taken. Specifically under "Get Help":

If you still have issues after testing the microphone on your device, try these steps:

  1. Unplug any accessory plugged into the headset jack.
  2. Avoid blocking the microphone and iSight mic with your fingers while holding the device or recording video.
  3. Remove screen protectors, films, or cases that cover the microphone, iSight mic, or iPhone receiver.
  4. Clear any debris from the microphones or iPhone receiver. Refer to the user guide for your device on microphone locations.
  5. Restart your device.
  6. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.

If you're still having issues, let us know what steps you took when you say that you performed a full reset on the device. Did you restore the device and set it up as new? If yes, did you do this through the Settings or through iTunes?
Take care!

Hey lirlev4,

Thanks for following up with the steps you've tried. When you completed the restore, did you set up the device as new or from a backup? If you restore and set up as new, this will help determine if the issue is hardware or software related as sometimes software issues still return when restoring from a backup.

If after restoring and setting up as new, you're still having an issue then the next step would be to have the device inspected in person for hardware issues. Take a look here to find some nearby locations: Apple - Find Locations

You asked if this could be a carrier issue. If the microphone problem doesn't happen when on speakerphone as you mentioned in your original reply then it's unlikely to be a carrier issue.

Cheers!

Hello.

I have been trying all these steps and unfortunatly the problem is not solved.

after 3 min of a phone call my voice dissapers again.

I did a dfu restore using iTunes, I have the latest version of ios, I don't have any case or protector on my iPhone and i definitely don't block the microphones during a phone call,

what i should do?

do you think it is an hardware problem? what i should say to the carrier which i bought from the iphone.

waiting for your answer thank you!
