Question: drink on macbook pro vents

I spilt a small amount of a drink on my MacBook Pro, which got on the vents next to the keyboard and bit on one key. It was about half a teaspoon, is this a problem and if so how do I deal with it?

As a preventative measure you may see about having expert Apple specialist inspect the unit.

There always is a chance damage symptoms from exposure to liquids as they are invasive.

If you had an older MacBook Pro with user-removable battery, or even one with non-glue in

batteries, one could remove the batteries and hope the inside would dry somewhat. Now,

more & more portable Apple computers seem to use tightly-fitted batteries adhered inside.

See an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for diagnostic and repair estimate.
