voice navigation

when using my iPhone 8 to navigate, the voice navigation is disabled when I have the power cord plugged in. Any ideas? We use this when traveling and need to plug the power in.

Navigations voice won’t speak I have iPhone 8 Plus and I’ve been having this issue. It wasn’t always like this but all of a sudden siri just stopped talking. It will make a beep noise when i need to make a change of direction. I noticed though if i have my music off it will talk. Also i don’t see the navigation and directions under my maps settings is that for the newer phones?
