Question:

Question: Some iMessages are not showing on my iPhone (maybe one a day) - but come on iPad and Messages in MacOS

Some iMessages in a string are not showing on my iPhone (maybe one a day) - but come on iPad and Messages in MacOS. So - there is a conversation, then one reply shows on the iPad and MacOS, but not my phone. Then the conversation continues and the rest shows on all devices.

"Send & Receive" settings are the same on all devices. Latest iOS and MacOS on all devices. Turned iCloud off and on all devices, turned iMessage off and on all iOS devices, disabled and enabled iMessage in MacOS.

Looks like, if there is a pattern, it is a message coming in at night when the phone is off.

First image - MacOS, showing reply at 10:58. Second image, from phone, showing reply is missing. (Note: the reply IS there on my iPad).

Hi,

Make sure your macOS is up to date.

Click your Apple menu top left in your screen.

From the drop down menu click System Preferences > App Store then when the App Store opens click Updates from the menu top of the App Store window.

Same for iOS devices. Tap Settings > General > Software Update
