I need to link my Ipod to Apple Music

I use ITunes on my laptop to purchase music and then I put it on my iPod, I just signed up for Apple music and downloaded some new music and when I sync my iPod it won't sync those songs and says I have to enable cloud music on the iPod. I did that and now the iPod says it isn't linked to that account? Any help?

Hey heathers1andonly,

If I understand correctly, you enabled iCloud on your iPod touch, but it is saying the device is not associated with your Apple ID. This can happen if you are using a different Apple ID. The steps in this article show where you can check that you are using the correct Apple ID.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the iTunes Store App.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign In.
  3. Tap Use Existing Apple ID, then enter the Apple ID and password that you use with the iTunes Store.
  4. Tap OK.

When you sign in to the iTunes Store, you also automatically sign in to the Music, App Store, iBooks, and Podcasts apps on your device.

Sign in to the iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV
