If a new mail arrives in the apple mail application and that mail address is not saved in the " address book " .

Click on the drop down arrow and click on copy address , its your choice where to save it in address book or add to vips

If the choice is in the address book .Click on add to contacts .

Open address book application click on plus sign and create a new contact .

Highlight mail and paste the email address ( use command and V ) and click on done .

But as you inquired complete keyboard short cuts for copying ( command and C ) and pasting ( command and V ) will not work as this is a partial method of copy and paste , but you can send a feed back Feedback - Mail - Apple
