iPhone X top of screen problem
Neither the Notification or Control Center will pull down from the top of my iPhone X while on any screen (lock, home, within apps, etc.) While on the home screen, as my slow-moving finger leaves the 'top bar' area and enters the 'regular' screen area, the Search screen begins to activate. The Notification and Control Centers will, however, pull down in landscape mode.
I've tried restarting, force restarting and even a factory default, to no avail.
To be transparent, this iPhone X did experience a 4-foot fall onto concrete about 9 hours before I noticed this issue. Though, the iPhone was in a (thin) case, and the blunt hit was to a bottom corner. The subsequent concrete-kisses did cause the glass screen protector to crack, near the top of the screen.
I cannot say for sure wether or not the pulldowns worked immediately following the drop, but I frequently use the Notification and Control Centers, and I couldn't imagine that I went 9 or so hours without using it before noticing this issue.
I'm pretty tech savvy, especially with Apple products. I've also repaired iPhones and iPads for friends/family for the hobby. I have yet to teardown an iPhone X
Thank you, in advance, for any helpful comments.
