What software can I use to remove malware?

1) I get occasional pop-ups about using ‘Mac Cleaner’ and others

2) I have several devices, including an iMac, MacBook Air, iPad and iPhones. They all share an iCloud Account. Even the newest devices show have had pop-ups suggesting that there is(are) a shared contaminant(s). Is there a way to search/clean all files on the iCloud or should they all be quarantined and taken down one by one, if one would ever have that time ?

3) How do you cleanup a hard drive back-up from these malware so as not to recontaminate the device(s)?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

MalwareBytes for Mac was written by a long time forum contributor (originally AdwareMedic). So far it has remainded the best tool for removing adware from a Mac, and since adware is the primary thing annoying Mac users it is much more effective than the other malware packages, which spend all their time looking for Windows threats that will not affect the Mac.

You might also look at something like https://www.ublock.org/ extension for your web browser.

If Malwarebytes doesn't fix the problem, try running this program in your normal user account, then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy Report” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. You can run the report for free at least once, but if you run it several times, at some point it will ask you to pay a license fee.
