Does anyone know why my software is crashing like this when I save files or bounce audio? The software is useless right now and I dont know what to do. I have an important recording I need to edit really soon and this came as a shock.
iTunes-OTHER, iOS 4.3.2
Im sure this is a very old version, but Im using Logic Pro X 10.0.2.
It won't even bring up the prompt to select a location to save, it crashes right when I click "Save as".
Is this just too old a version? Or can I get a work around. I really dont use this enough to warrant an upgrade, but other softwares dont have the tools I need.
And how do I get access to the free download if it is still trying to charge me? I bought the software, which apparently was a download that I dont remember.... but either way the App store is not allowing me the free update.

Where are you saving your files?
And you are using 10.0.2 on which OS? High Sierra?

Im on Sierra, ya. How can I update free of charge? The app store says I need to purchase it - when I got the program originally it was still installed by CD.
Logic Pro X has never been available as DVD?
Login to the Apple Store with your Apple ID.
I would contact Apple.
They should be able to help you out with the update.
