Question: macOS 10.13.4 Serious Problems

My iMac automatically updated to 10.13.4 last week, and royally f’ed things up. There are major problems with video output (as in, it doesn’t work and will render black screen output on the built in display) as well as exhibiting massively annoying, consistent system shut downs, 5-10 minutes after powering up; requiring me to unplug and plugin my iMac for it to respond at all.

These issues persisted until I wiped the drive and reinstalled a fresh copy of macOS High Sierra 10.13 (Not 10.13.1, 2, 3 or 4)

Needless to say I turned off automatic macOS updates and I won’t be updating for a while.
