I changed my Apple ID. I want to change it back to the original but its not an option. How do I get it back?

I'm getting the impression that the OP isn't talking about literally changing the Apple ID. When you Edit your Apple ID, you don't have "options" as to what other IDs you can use. I originally thought that is what they were trying to do as well, but now I'm not so sure....

I think you just go to the Apple ID and App Store settings tab on your iPhone and sign out. Then you sign back in with the apple ID you wish to revert to. After that you go to the App store and download the stuff that you had on that Apple ID back on to your phone. For music and videos there should be a tab in each of the apps saying restore purchases. That should do it.

What do you mean it's not an option? What kind of error are you getting. Unless you are using the old email address that used to be your Apple ID in some other capacity on an Apple account, or unless you changed your Apple ID to an iCloud.com email, you should be able to change it back.

Sorry, I'm confused. Exactly what screen are you trying to change it on? There is no @apple.com email domain, but again, you indicated you were trying to change your Apple ID. Where are you seeing these "options"?

What does your current Apple ID end with now? Please don't post the entire ID, just the @XXX.XXX portion.

If your e-mail address was associated with the ID in any way, for example as a Reachable at or Rescue e-mail address, then it can't be reused with another Apple ID for approximately one year. You will need to get another e-mail address to use as your Apple ID.
