Some selected playlists not syncing

I am trying to sync some playlists to my iphone i have more than enough space i have ticked the playlists and clicked sync yet it does not sync the selected playlists when i reconnect my phone it shows the playsist sill selected but they are definitely not on my iphone

my iphone and itunes are both up to date

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 11.3

Try restarting iTunes.

Another thing to try is to uncheck the playlist, hit Apply, then recheck and Apply again.
