Wake failure from sleep High Sierra 10.13.4

After upgrading to 10.13.4 iMac does not wake from sleep. On input of password, the screen shows apple logo and hangs. Machine has to be cold booted.

This is a 27" late 2013 iMac.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

iMac won't "wake up" Why isn't my iMac "waking up" from sleep mode. I'm having to hold the start button to force the iMac to shut down and then restart my iMac... what is going on? Two weeks ago I had Apple replace the disk drive with a new Flash (SSD) drive. It has worked great until yesterday when it wouldn't wake up and now today it wouldn't wake up either and I had to go through the forced shut-down and restart. I now have moved the energy saver to "display never turns off", but I don't like this as a long term solution. Any ideas?

System Sleep Wake Problem - My Imac doesn't turn on Hello. All started when I accidentally unplugged the IMac while it was on. After that the computer didn't turn on no matter what I tried to do. I had lost hope when after about seven days the computer turned on by itself without me touching it! The message it showed me was that "System Sleep Wake experienced a problem". I used the IMac for a while and everything seemed to be going well. When I turned off the IMac, I had the same problem again. It doesn't turn on again. Any idea what the problem is or what I can do to solve it?

Non Apple peripherals frequently have difficulty with sleep's low power mode. I would connect an Apple wired mouse and keyboard and disconnect Bluetooth to verify which device is problematic. Repair the directory each time you have to cold boot.

My data has become inaccessible, and I don't have a backup!
