apple headphones will not stay in headphone jack anymore

my apple headphones no longer will stay in the headphone jack of my iphone 6s. other headphones work and stay in just fine, but my apple ones won't, so i know it's a problem with the headphones. if i hold them in place they work just fine, but will not stay locked in the headphone jack. anyone have any suggestions?

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.1.2
