I tried to Face Time my husband and the call wasn't going through so I ended it so I could just regular call him. It won't end though, the call is still up saying it's ending but it won't go away and now I can't get or make any calls. How do I make it go away? Thanks.

go to settings, general, shutdown. worked for me
I figured it out!
Turn on assistive touch and navigate to device, more, and then tap restart!!!
So basically if this happens all you do is go to settings and then general go to bottom then hit reset all settings it’ll turn your phone off so you don’t have to wait. And you just have to enter in WiFi and a couple other things but it’s better than waiting.
It dose the same thing after delet FaceTime apps and reinstalled, and also after swap the new phone, and set it as new user . Im using t-mobile with this iphone x and this is my third iphone x in 5 month...
I am having the same exact issue. FaceTime will not end. I cannot make it recieve calls and I cannot shut my phone down. I am very tech savvy and the iPhone X has given me the most issues of any iphone I’ve ever owned. It’s very glitchy and will lag and freeze .
Seriously shouldn't have to restart my phone because one of your guys "signature software" pieces Facetime - will not work. I have never had as many issues with an iPhone as the iPhone X. Between it's weak antenna and it's constant bugs I am really wondering what the **** I paid over a $1K for. Apple use you big tax break to hire more devs and fix you backlog of tech debt on this pile.
