I shared a album with her which is over 5g. is that possible and will this album count onto her iCloud space as well?
(my account was UK one when I was in UK but I dont have bank card of there now, so family share not available)

No, not in iCloud, but shared albums take up local storage on everyones devices, because they are downloaded from iCloud to the device. So be considerate when sharing photos and videos.
