Index Match Multiple Criteria

Is there a way to do like in Google Sheets and Excel and have a match with multiple criteria?

I want to use the formula as such (Index(Expenses::My Budget::A:D,match(A1,Expenses::My Budget::A:A,0),match(B2&B3,Expenses::My Budget::1:1&Expenses::My Budget::2:2,0). It does not seem to want to work though. This works in the other programs.

I believe Excel can do multi-criteria matching using "array" functions, which you enter with something like Control-Enter, not just the Enter key. Numbers does not have array functions. I don't know about Google sheets. Your formula does not appear to be an array function but maybe it is. Trying to Match something to the concatenation of data from two rows (1:1&2:2) is not possible with the standard implementation of Match. Maybe in an array function it is?

From what I can tell, if you would put the month and pay period into one cell vs two or if you would create a new row that is =Month&PayPeriod (which you can later hide) and use that for your second match, you might be able to accomplish what you want.
