I assume that you've done a restart, but if not, do it now: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If no help, you should try a factory reset:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings

Mine has been doing it for the last week and is rapidly getting worse. The phone is 3 months old but in pristine condition.

I doubt tgat its a software issue, seems like a problem with the touchscreen itself.. I’ll be taking my phone in to the Apple store. Not gonna mess around with resets and software updates. These aren’t cheap phones

I ended up going to the apple store twice. They reset it once and replaced the screen the second time. It’s fine now with the new screen.

Thanks for the info. When they want to update software I’ll bring out this post and tell them I want a screen replacement 👍-1F3FC; Appreciate it mate

My phone is doing the same thing. I’m starting to wonder if it’s from the new iOS. Will you update your response from the Apple store?

Mine is doing the same exact thing. I’ve had iPhones since they first come out and rarely had issues. This one is really annoying and inconvenient, especially with a 3 week old $1000 phone!!!
