Unexpected Shutdown of iPhone SE within warranty period
iPhone SE, iOS 11.3
iPhone SE, iOS 11.3
The battery has a 1-year warranty just like the phone, however depending on what it was that you may have been doing, looking at your battery level, it may have just been something that taxed the battery. Your battery health is at 95%, but your current charge is only 25%, and it appears it is currently plugged in and charging. I would say that it is probably just an anomaly, especially if it just happened once. I doubt that you would get a battery replacement since it is reading 95%, the standard is replacement if it is reading less than 80% after a year. Were you able to get the device started again? Is this the only time this shutdown occurred?
Thanks for a quick reply ChrisJ4203 yes it happened only once and you are right this could be one off incident so I am keeping my fingers crossed and wish that it be an one off incident and there are no repetitions. I have scheduled call with Apple Support lets see what they have to say about this. I shall update the thread after my call
I wouldn't worry, but Apple should support that.
