I write the password on my dmg disk image and opens perfectly well, except there are no files inside of it!! What is even more weird is that they were there a month ago. I now have Sierra 10.13.3

OK. What dmg folder ? Typically .dmg is a mountable disk image created by macOS or commonly used for OS X software installers

I created it to secure private documents. When I write the password, the disk opens correctly but the documents I inserted are no longer there
