An iOS update won't fix it. That phone is not compatible with 4G/LTE networks in your country.
Where did you get the phone? What does it say in Settings>General>About>Model?
Yes it's an iPhone for the Chinese market not Indonesia.

The model of the phone can affect the settings. The phones sold for the Chinese market are somewhat different than phones sold for any other market.
It would be helpful if you told us which model iPhone you're using, what version of iOS and whether you bought your carrier's version of the phone or not. Also, what country are you in and who is your carrier?

Ahh i see. Thanks for your helps. But, any of these changes in Setting section are caused by iOs upgrades? Because i compare my iphone 5s to my friendās, his iOs still at 11 but not the newest one. And he still got those 2G/3G/4G selection.
Im using iPhone 5S with iOs 11.3 and im from Indonesia. My carier is Indosat, and its support 4G towards my phone. Thanks for your response, need more further information, Thank you.
Ok, but who still want to use 2G?
Anyway it should automatically switch to what's available.
Yep, just in case if my 4G network is in bad condition. anyways, thanks for your support š
okay then. i think i gonna wait for next iOs updates too, waiting if there are any changes. thank you for your helps and supports, cheers š
Cant change between 3G/4G
