Can anyone tell me if there is a basic ( idiot proof) cad app for iPad in 2d ?
just basic for shapes ,curves, textures and scaleable to print....

I clearly have no experience with this app. All I'm suggesting is an App Store search should do the trick for you.
Most of the 2D CAD apps for ios aren’t really “idiot-proof”.
Most users of CAD want a feature rich CAD app for iPad. Not some sort of simplified, watered down CAD app.
