What is the PIN number for AirPods?

I’m trying to connect my AirPods to my Panasonic cordless phone to use them like I use my wireless headset. The phone asks for a PIN number. My wireless headset uses the default 0000, but that does not work for the AirPods. I tried 1111 with no luck, too. Can anyone help?

There isn’t a PIN for the AirPods, that is why nothing you enter works.

If your Panasonic phone is insisting on you entering one, it’s possible either: the software installed on it is too old and requires an update to pair the AirPods OR the physical Bluetooth hardware components are too old and not compatible with the AirPods. If the latter is the case, you will be unable to pair the AirPods with this device.

To connect a bluetooth headset (or in this case, the AirPods), my Panasonic phone requires me to enter the PIN for that headset. My current bluetooth headset works when I enter 0000. I have tried 0000, 1111, and now 1234 at your suggestion, and the AirPods still are not being paired with my Panasonic phone. Thanks for trying.
