How long to replace an Iphone 6 Battery

Made an appointment and took my phone in for battery replacement. Was told I could have a free replacement as there were problems with my model / battery. Then I was told it would take 2 1/2 hours to replace.

I went on the basis that it would be done while I waited. The lady said we will do it while you wait but it will take 2 1/2 hours minimum.

I asked why this was not pointed out when I made the appointment...no explanation!!! Really annoyed that I could have planned my day better if I had have known it would take this long but Apple give you no information on this. In the end I went home a 15 mile round trip.

Also at no time was a recall done on my phone to let me know I could have a free battery replacement. Why where is their Customer Service. Non existent in my case!

I am beginning to sympathise with lots of others who have had problems with Apple as my experience with them today is appalling and I was so annoyed at having to wait so long for a simple replacement. And where on the website can you complain????
