Greetings, when trying to restore my 5s, I get this message: iphone 5s - The iphone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9). The phone is also locked on a screen asking me to plug the phone into itunes.
I have: uploaded new version of itunes on my wives new computer so it IS the current itunes version. I have also tried several cables, one being a brand new one.

Turn iPhone off Connect lead to USB on your pc Press just the power button down on iPhone don't let go Connect lead to iPhone keep power button pressed down until pc sees iPhone Then wait for restore you may need to do this more than once Before it works.

If you continue to see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you try to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, contact us.
