Alarm clock going off late

I have the same problem but on a 6 Plus with 11.0.2. I have deleted my alarms and recreated them. Still happens. This morning it didn’t ring until I picked it up - it was 11 minutes late. It is imperative that an alarm clock be reliable - this issue really needs to be addressed.

As it is not an issue experienced by most iPhone users, it's unlikely that it's something Apple can fix. It probably has to do either with your hardware or something on your phone.

The first thing I'd suggest is to back up your phone then restore it from that back up using iTunes. This will install a fresh copy of iOS on your phone.

If my the transmission in my car stops working, it doesn't mean that Honda should recall all Fits for faulty transmissions. Over the years, people have had a variety of different problems with the alarm on many different iPhones with many different versions of iOS. But never very many. Because there are a variety of problems with different solutions, it's unlikely it's a bug. But, even if it is, you have to start by doing the requisite troubleshooting. If the problem is, by some slim chance, a bug in the version of iOS you have, following my suggestion will also fix that.

Or, you can do nothing except complain.

well i have an similar problem to that i have the iphone 7plus and i turned off all my alarms this summer and school is about to start so i tried turning all them on and i try to wake up to in the morning for my school time it’s ok the number set to it but no sound goes off for the alarm and i really need this working for school anyone else have this pro

Make sure that Settings>Date and Time>Set Automatically is enabled. Also try deleting that particular alarm, restart your phone and enter a new alarm setting.

The latest version is iOS 11.4 so update your software and see if the problem is fixed.

It's not going to fix it. It's a known bug with all iOS versions. Apple will soon promote it to a feature, as usual.
