High Sierra can't run Youtube

I upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.4 (on my MacPro) and now I can't play videos on Youtube, I only get the endless spinning circle thing and the message "If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device". Tried all sorts of things, uninstalled and re-installed latest Flash Player. Nothing works. I can skip around and try to find videos, but they are frozen and won't play.

Maybe I can help you? YouTube works fine on my iphone, tv and Mac Pro, so maybe it’s not me..anyways..try the following in no order: zap pram, make a 5ghz network ( under airport utility) and connect to that, change channel on network, reboot router, check transmission strength-you can do that by holding down the option key and clicking on the wi-fi icon. Depending on your browser there’s other stuff you can do-but Firefox only.

Well I tried
