Creating Metallic colors in Pages?

I'm wondering if there is a way to create Gold or Silver type in Pages 7.0.1 without me having to block out black type with Instant Alpha and fill it in with a photo of gold leaf in the bottom layer. I don't have photoshop, just Pages. I'm using my desktop OS 10.13.4. Or do you know of any apps. Also is there a difference between Color Picker in Pages vs. the Color Picker app?

Thanks in advance

Try the Gold Leaf color from this site.

Pages does not offer the text coloration and special effects controls that a dedicated graphics application would offer, but that example above was #E0A458 in the RGB color space. The font is 20 pt Engravers MT Regular.

For $50 USD, one can skip Photoshop and acquire Affinity Designer from the Mac App Store. The Affinity web site has a free, full featured trial.
