We are all other users here, so you would need to check with Apple. However, my guess would be that you might get more if you tried to sell it for parts yourself.
Well then, it's time for you to do some research; these forums are for technical problems of your Apple devices, they are not to be used for selling/buying. Start your research on ebay to see what's available and the cost; google for "selling a used mac"; contact the sites and ask questions. Depending on your location, you may be able to use craigslist locally.
I’ve never sold anything online before, so I don’t know how to do that or what steps to take or even how much I should sell the parts for.
