how do i hide the message content including text??

settings - notification - message - show preview - off

then you'll need to turn off notification for message if you want that, you can't hide the name detail.

Or turn off show in banners.

Your phone will still vibrate or ring when you receive a text message, all your doing is removing the notification.

You decide what is more important to you and you can go from there, there isn't much more help.
