can't delete email

Is there some way to "re-sync" mail between iCloud and my iPhone?

I have some email in a "saved mail" folder on my iPhone that I cannot delete. If I view that folder on my iMac or on iCloud (via Safari), those emails do not show up (in that folder nor my inbox or trash folder). I believe that I moved those emails while on my iPhone from my inbox to the saved mail folder while my iPhone was out of range of cell service, and subsequently never got synced properly. The Saved Mail folder is an iCloud folder, not one locally on my iMac or iPhone. On the iPhone, when I try to select and delete emails from the saved mail folder, I click the DELETE button and they momently disappear. The iPhone Mail app says'Checking for Mail...", but ultimately (after 4 or 5 minutes), I get the error. message "Unable to Move Message".

I have MacOS 10.13.4 and iOS 11.3.1.

Thanks for any help.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

I fixed the problem - sort of...On my iPhone I quit out of my Mail application. Then on my iMac, I created a new "mailbox", and moved the messages in the "saved mail" folder I was having trouble with. Then I deleted the "saved mailbox". On my iPhone, I launched my Mail and my old "saved mail" folder was gone and my newly created mailbox had the messages I wanted to keep.

[I originally deleted my "saved mail" folder from my iMac, then launched iPhone to confirm the folder was gone, quit the iPhone Mail app, and recreated my "saved mail" folder. I relaunched iPhone Mail, the newly created "saved mail" folder appeared, but still had the troublesome emails (that does not show up on iMac). Consequently, when I later created my new mailbox, I gave it a totally new name and that fixed my problem.]
