Twitter website not loading in Safari

If I'm browsing the Internet and decide to type in twitter.com in the address bar to visit, Twitter.com, Safari will not load the site. I have to shut down Safari and reopen... or open up Chrome and go to Twitter.

This happens regardless of what site I am on. Twitter will just not load in the browser. Refresh doesn't load it either.

If the above doesn't work, try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Also try the Safe Mode.

Isolating an issue by using another user account

Safe Mode - About

Safe Mode Startup – El Capitan. also Sierra

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

I wish...

No, I update my OS for fear of viruses, etc. and everytime I do, everything seems to get worse.

It's 10.13.4.

In addition to this anomoly there appears to be a Keychain issue with Adobe Creative Cloud that I'm just ignoring for the time being and dealing with.

This problem still exist but is better now that I've turned on Ghostery. But it still happens with Twitter occassionally.

The address comes up in the address bar but Twitter never loads and the previous page remains.
