Mail Drop - save video

Someone sent me a video via Mail Drop in email. I opened it and saved it to me Desktop. Now I want to save it on my hard drive. I tried to drag it to Photos and it appeared to work, but when I tried to open it, it said the source wasn't available. An application called File Viewer is the one that is opening the video when I have it on the desktop, but I want the video saved with my other photos from that day.

Everything on your desktop is on your hard drive

I have never heard of a Mac application named File Viewer - what happens if you double click on the video on the desktop? What is the extension on the video? It may be an incompatible format

Try launching Photos and using the file menu ==> import command to import the video
