Finder does not show file dimensions

My laptop specs:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Operating system: MacOS High Sierra, Version 10.13

Just a few days ago, file dimensions stopped appearing in Finder. The "last opened" info doesn't appear, either. For example:

I have already researched this problem and one of the most common solutions was to rebuild the Spotlight index. I did this and nothing changed. I have also restarted my computer multiple times but nothing changed. I tried installing the latest software update but it just sat on a black screen for 40 minutes until I finally just rebooted the computer (although that's a complaint for another thread).

I would really appreciate any help. This has been irritating me quite a bit.

Hmmm. You can control click on the menu bar in FINDER and select it as an option:

Other ways to see dimensions:

If you use command i keys to open the info pane—it typically shows dimensions there.

Dropping a image on the desktop, typically shows dimensions there,

if you have the option checked, command J

Have you tried starting in Recovery mode and running First Aid from Disk Utility?

Maybe run EtreCheck to have a closer look at your system?

Thank you for the quick response! I appreciate it.

Unfortunately, when I tried your first suggestion (control-clicking the menu bar) this happened:

The dimensions option did show up, but the actual dimensions did not.

Moreover, when I did Command + i to get to the file information, the dimensions didn't show up at all:

It's like the dimensions option has completely disappeared. I can't find it anywhere. Again, this happened out of nowhere just a couple of days ago.

Also, I noticed that Spotlight search is no longer indexing my Pictures folder after I tried that Spotlight index fix (meaning that if I search for the name of an image, it won't appear). Is there any way to fix this?
