But more importantly, there does not seem to be any issue to me. In fact, I find the iPhone X display to be firmer and more robust than any of its predecessors (the iPhone X is my twelfth iPhone).

Yes, and plenty of people will complain about today's weather also. There will always be people complaining about anything you can name. It means nothing.

I have had 4 iphones previously and never had a scratched screen. I have had my X for about 3 months and it already had a big gouge in it. Why does this screen scratch so easily???

Yes, we know it is pretty... but it is also pretty easily scratched. I for one am not very happy about that.
