Name display on lock screen

initially,the name of the sender on watsapp and mesgs on iPhone X would only show when unlocked or by Face ID. Buts its not so now. I don’t want the name to be displayed on locked screen. How to change it back to previous settings?

iOS 14 still showing sender name on lock screen Apple prides it self a lot on privacy, however displaying name of the caller or name of the sender of iMessage seems to be one of most ugly privacy intrusions. I cannot get it they cannot sort it out to show only “Missed call” or “ Text message” while the phone is locked and reveal sender name only when I look at the phone and it unlocks with FaceID

Hello guys wanna I asked you how to hide whatsapp sender name on the lock screen!! I had it before but the when the software was updated doesn’t work anymore!! Can anyone could help me pls Hide the sender name on the lock screen iOS 11.3.1

Is your Settings -> Notifications -> Show Previews set to "When Unlocked?"
