I accidentally deleted a shared photo album that I had created 5 years ago and I have been sharing lots of photo and videos with a group of my family . How can I recover the photo sharing album?
I want to add some screen shots , open photos application and select some photos , click on shared button , type the name for an album > click on iCloud photo sharing > again click on new shared album > select the contact ( invite people ) and click on create .
The album will be created in shared albums under my albums , if you right click on it and click on delete shared album it will be deleted permanently and will not be moved to recently deleted folder.
So you can't recover a shared album ( the photographs saved will also get deleted ) .

How do I back up a shared album?
Shared album content isn't automatically backed up. If you want to save a photo or video from a shared album, add it to your photo library before you back up your device.
> Save Image.You can only save shared videos to a Mac or PC. Any comments or likes attached to a photo or video in a shared album aren't saved with the photo or video.

Remove subscribers or delete an album
As the creator of a shared album, you control who can access it. You can remove subscribers or delete the album at any time. When you delete a shared album, it's automatically removed from all of your devices and the devices of your subscribers. If Public Website was enabled, the shared album is removed from the web too.

If I'm the creator of an album and I put photos and videos from my photo stream in the shared album and then I transfer photos and videos to my mac or pc to make free space on my phone. what would happen to those photos and videos?
You agree with me that I can not keep photos and videos for long time on my phone and I have to remove them from the phone? The issue is , I have the back up copy of all my photos and videos but gathering them in an album was the feature I was looking for. So it seams having shared albums is useless since you can not guarantee keeping them for long time.
So the question is how I can have a shared album in Mac which I can back it up as Album including all likes and comments ? my answer is " i can not have it" . Is there any alternate way ?
how exactly did you delete it? DO you have a current backup of your Photos library on your Mac?
