my iphone 6s was dead for 3 months how long will it take to charge

I got my phone taken away for 3 months so it's been dead for a while but I just got it back and it's been plugged in for almost a day and it still isn't responding. Do I need to worry or is this normal?

Its normal, in the sense that the batteries will die if left fully discharged for extended periods of time.

Since its not charging after a day, I'd say your battery is dead, and will require replacing.

You can take it to Apple and they'll replace it currently for $29.
