I follow all prompts when I google how to approve my iPad from iPhone,. However, it tells me to go to keychain then click advance, but there’s no advanced to click on! This is getting ridiculous!

This is what my iPhone says: UPDATE APPLE SETTINGS some account services will not be available to you until you sign in again. So I press CONTINUE to do so. It takes me to a page that asks for my APPLE password. I put in password and click sign in. This takes me to another page requesting MY IPONE PASSCODE, and explains the passcode I use to unlock this iPhone is used to access my APPLE ID, saved passwords and other data saved to iCloud when I sign in to a new device. When I put in the PASSCODE it immediately takes me to a new page. This page says, APPOVE THIS iPHONE. Then says I have to go to one of my other devices signed into iCloud to APPROVE the iPhone.so I try to do this after I googled what steps to take to do this. I follow prompts until there is something they tell me to do, that isn’t available, e.g click on KEYCHAIN and click on ADVANCED, but there is no ADVANCED!!! So I can’t go any farther to get me iPhone APPROVED. I end up canceling the approval.
Don’t understand “approve” iPad from iPhone. Are you talking about “two step authentication?”
